Welcome to the Thanet Concert Band Website.
On this site you will find information about the band, how to book the band and where to find our next concert.
Based in Garlinge nr Margate the band meets for weekly rehearsals on a Thursday evening at 7:45pm. The band is made up of players of varying abilities and ages.
Playing a diverse mix of music from musical and film themes to classical overtures ensures the band plays something for everyone.

Bob plays 3rd clarinet with the band and has been a band member since 1972.

Do you play a wind instrument?
We are always on the lookout for new players. Ideally you should be Grade 5 standard or above but not essential. See our recruitment and contact pages for more details.
